For players

What is Rankly?

The place where tournaments are played and followed: registration, groups, brackets, live coverage, standings and championships. It was born with the Italian Beyblade X community and works for any one-on-one tournament.

Do I have to pay to play?

No. Rankly is free for players. The tournament fee, if there is one, is set by the club and paid to the club.

Do I need an account?

Not to follow a tournament. To register, usually yes: you sign in with Google or Discord and pick a nickname, which is the name you appear under everywhere. If you don’t have an account, the organiser can add you at the desk.

Do I have to download an app?

No. Rankly opens in your phone’s browser; if you like, add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.

How do I find a tournament near me?

The tournament list has those with registration open, with date, organiser and spots. On the Community page you’ll find the clubs and you can follow them to know when they open a tournament.

Can I register my child?

Yes. A parent can register a child who doesn’t have their own account, from the community app that supports it; the guide "Registering your child for a tournament" (in Italian) explains the steps.

How are points counted in Beyblade X?

Spin Finish 1 point, Over Finish 2, Burst Finish 2, Xtreme Finish 3. The winner is whoever reaches the match’s points target first, usually 4; finals can have a higher target. The organiser decides, and the tournament page shows it on every match.

How do I follow a tournament live?

Open the tournament page: it updates by itself while people play, with scores, groups, bracket and the finish just scored. No need to reload.

Where do I see my results?

On your profile: tournaments played, wins, placings and latest matches. In championships you’ll find your position and what each leg gave you.

What are achievements?

They’re the awards you earn by playing: your first tournament, podiums, wins, comebacks, finishes, championship seasons and more, some of them secret. They’re counted automatically from results and reports (launches and finishes only in matches reported live), they sit on the board on your profile and each one can be shared as an Instagram story.

How do I get notified when it’s my turn?

Link Telegram from your account. In tournaments that call matches to tables you’ll get a message with the table and the opponent.

What is the radar?

A map, in testing, to see who plays in your area and where the next tournaments are, with directions to get there. You can leave a sentence or a photo for a few hours (for example «Looking for a sparring partner») and, if you want, show your Telegram to people with the radar on: they message you there, Rankly doesn’t carry messages. You can tag other players (they get a notice) and react to their statuses. It’s for adults only: people only see you when you turn it on, and you switch it off with one tap.

Prices and trial

How much does it cost?

The club plan costs €29 a month plus VAT, with as many tournaments and players as you like. The Championship add-on costs €199 once; the Federation Pack, for those with affiliated clubs, €299 once.

Is there a free plan?

No. A free plan would mean ads on tournament pages or features cut on purpose, and we don’t want that. To try it there are 14 days.

How does the 14-day trial work?

You enter your card at the start, but you pay nothing for 14 days. Three days before the end you get a reminder email; if you don’t cancel, the monthly subscription starts. You can cancel any time during the trial with no charge.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes, from the customer portal, without writing to anyone. You stay active until the end of the month already paid; no lock-in and no penalty.

What happens to my tournaments if I cancel?

The tournaments stay and their public pages stay reachable. To create new ones or edit them you need to reactivate the plan.

What does the Championship add-on include, and why is it paid once?

It brings several tournaments together into a championship: on points, with drop scores and thresholds, or qualification-based with repechage, with its own public page and the rules written plainly. It’s paid once because a championship happens once a year: twelve monthly payments to use it for two months wouldn’t make sense.

What is the Federation Pack?

For federations, leagues and club networks: every affiliated club has its own page, logo and dashboard, and its tournaments can enter the federation’s championships. Subscription and administrators stay with the federation: clubs don’t pay separately.

Do you issue Italian invoices?

Yes, automatically: with a VAT number and recipient code the electronic invoice arrives by itself.

Organising

Which formats are there?

Swiss, round robin, single and double elimination. They combine into phases: the most common format is Swiss in groups followed by a bracket for the best, with Rankly handling the move between phases.

How is it decided who goes through on equal wins?

With the tiebreakers you choose, in the order you want; for Swiss there’s a ready-made set. The standings show the value of each tiebreaker, so anyone can check why one player is ahead of another.

Do referees have their own screen?

Yes, on their phone: big buttons for each finish, the two players’ names that can be swapped side to side, and the camera to film the match and replay it in slow motion when a point is doubtful. The video stays on the referee’s phone.

Do I need referees for every group?

They’re recommended, not required. The panel tells you which groups are uncovered; without referees, the organisers or the players themselves can report results.

Can I correct a wrong score?

Yes. In Swiss the current round can be corrected freely, closed rounds with the head judge; in the bracket the correction also updates the matches that come after.

Can I run several tournaments on the same day?

Yes, each with its own registration, referees and page. The club’s staff see them all.

What’s left at the end of the tournament?

Everyone’s standings, stats per player and per group, the night’s finish types and awards like the Champion, the Destroyer and the Extreme King, on the tournament page.

Are tournaments public?

Yes, each has its own page that opens without signing in. A tournament can also be hidden from the listings: it still opens with the link. For streaming there are dedicated graphics, explained in the streaming guide.

Can I import tournaments from Challonge?

Yes: link your Challonge account, choose the tournament and Rankly recreates it with participants and matches, in its phases. It’s included in the plan.

Is there an API?

Yes, documented, to connect apps, websites and streaming graphics to the club’s tournaments. The documentation is in the developer section.

Data and support

Can I download my tournaments’ data?

The standings of finished tournaments and of championships can be downloaded as CSV from the dashboard.

What about privacy?

There are no ads or third-party tracking tools on Rankly’s pages. To delete your account write to support@rankly.it.

How does support work?

Write to support@rankly.it: a real person replies, in Italian, usually within one working day. Problems that block a tournament get priority.

How do I report a problem or ask for a feature?

By emailing support@rankly.it, or with the report-a-problem button inside Rankly.

Didn’t find the answer?

Write to us.

We reply in Italian, usually within one working day.
